Since
she could write, Cathe has been putting books together. Her
chapbooks appear in several stores across the US, including
San Francisco's CityLights Bookstore. With eleven chapbooks
under her belt, Cathe took to doing spoken works tours during
comedy tours. She was able to build an audience of appreciative
listeners and readers who were glad to hear about the misadventures
of a soon-to-be gimp. You can catch them on CatheB.com.
By 2001, she was one of three women in the well recieved comedy
show in Las Vegas. She was also having a harder time moving,
being treated full time for Ehlers-Danlos effects. She was
forced to retire in early 2002, and gave up comedy. She took
up her previous passion of writing full time, (as much as
her illness would allow).
In
2005, she developed a passion for her work that pushed her
into the idea of selling to professional publishing organizations.
Once again, she sought out news and magazine locations for
placement of her articles. And, after developing three strong
books, she is also working to put her books on the shelves
of the larger book stores.
