Down
That Road
It's
furious nature to field these fires
Of needs of others, and not our own
But of course we subscribe
Far outside the tribe
To share with the world this road
Tripping
falsely fearing features
Of intentions, those not our own
Trepidations, enraging
Beyond tears engaging
To discover where we are on that road
That
darkened road of what's ahead
We haven't been, we haven't said
But standing sole, and unwhole
Keeps us nowhere, no one known
We must travel down that road
Walls
wounding wishes, we'll wander
Self stone stepping. nowhere gone
Standing stops us still
Forcing further will
Road traveling behind, sighs atoned
That
darkened road of what's been done
We thought we'd been, we haven't yet
By strengthened calf, heel and toe
Until we're shadows and unraveled
We must travel down that road
